Stories 4 The Dummy 2

Do you like to read short or long, simple or complex, funny or serious stories? Well you've come to the right place! I have two story pages, Stories 4 The Dummy and Stories 4 The Dummy 2.
This month we will be featuring JETT'S SUBSTANCE Z and ALANA, THE GREEDY APE for Stories 4 The Dummy. If you might notice, our theme for two months will be CONSTELLATIONS.

JETT'S SUBSTANCE Z
Jett was an 8-year-old genius who attended Yale University. It was Halloween day when Jett was told that his Substance Z he made in Chemistry was gone. If anyone had Substance Z poured over him or her, they would disappear. Jett was in the lab on Halloween night when someone grabbed him. It was Chris, the silent 19-year-old who was the second best kid in Chemistry.Chris snarled, I have heard of this Substance Z of yours. Everyone knows that if you misuse your Substance Z, you will be expelled. When it gets on me, you will be expelled from Yale and everyone would have pity for me. When Chris tipped the bottle holding Substance Z, Jett quickly grabbed the bottle and threw it high above their heads.
When Substance Z spilled on the bottle, the bottle disappeared and Substance Z zoomed back to Earth, drenching Jett and Chris. Chris and Jett disappeared.
Their only trace of disappearance was a few drops of Substance Z splattered on the ground. But his best friend, Jenna, found Jett, who was a good genius, in the stars. To cover up the story, Yale claimed that Chris and Jett went to the North Pole and died up there.
But not even Yale or geniuses could explain the cluster of stars that looked exactly like Jett. And Jett is still up there, protecting Earth from Substance Z.

Alana, The Greedy Ape
Alana the Ape was a sweet, gentle ape who got along with her fellow apes. She was a very enthusiastic ape who loved nothing more than playing in the Jumbo River. Alana was next to the Jumbo River for she had a cold and could not swim. She dared not disobey her mother for she would be angry if she got into the Jumbo River. Her friends did not understand why she was not in the river, so they playfully shoved her in. As they played, she tried to escape but they wouldn't let her. Then, a current started and swept the children away from shore and into the deepest part. They struggled and some apes drowned. But Alana and her friend, Alan, lived. Their mothers rescued them and got scolded for swiming to the deep. They did not believe that they were swept away.Alana's mother forbid Alana's freedom so she could learn her lesson. Alana got more sick every day. One cold winter night, Alana was sitting in her snowy tree when she dropped her bananna. She scrambled down to go get it. Her mother was up the tree when she spotted humans."Humans, humans, scatter, scatter!!!" Alana's mother echoed. Alana was so tired, she could not scramble up a tree. She was taken by the humans. For two years, Alana lived in custody and was given whatever she wanted. She still remembered her tribe and her tribe still remembered her. When she was brought back to her tribe, she discovered that she had become greedy. She was soon an outcast and made her mother a disgrace. But Alana didn't care. She just cared about getting her bananna. Her mother who was the leader, died one day which made Alana the leader. She demanded for her wants to be fufilled. When one winter, food was scarce. Tribe apes began to die, one by one. But Alana still wanted her bananna. After that winter, the tribe was reduced to a fourth of what it was. After another year, only ten apes lived. That was before she was smuggled into a circus. She was stuffed into a cannonball and shot high into the sky. A non-greedy ape would come back down, but the ape god felt that Alana needed to learn her lesson. She soared higher and higher till SPLAT! She was stuck in a sea of stars forever. Her tribe, after she left they bloomed into a very large tribe. Rumor is, that is the largest tribes of apes. They are living happily ever after. And Alana, well, let's say she is still looking for her bananna!

*A wizard came to publish his 100 foot tall book. The secretary said, 'Sir, this is too long. We asked for a short story' The wizard grumbled, 'That's the shortest book I have ever written.'*
